A thought for horses
What a shock to see images of blood streaked horses tearing through Central London this week. My heart goes out to everyone involved this week and I hope everyone is OK. I’ve been copywriting all sorts of marketing collateral for an Equestrian Centre this month, so it felt close to home.
Face to face
As a freelance sustainability copywriter, I do most of my work remotely. Meeting clients online - from Australia to Cornwall - and writing from home. But starting today chatting with local business folk face to face - seeing the whites of their eyes - has given me an added spring in my step.
I love writing blogs
I bloody love writing blogs. I’ve written about plastic pollution, regenerative farming, the best pubs in Essex, food waste, cyber security, robotic sailing marks, clinics in the Congo, fostering kids … there is SO much great work being done by SO many. Let’s share it better.
More than just a copywriter
I’ve been in client services and marketing for so long, I probably don’t appreciate how much more than copywriting I do for clients. Today I’ve helped a client decide whether to advertise and what info to get from the publication to get the most impact. And that’s before we’ve even talked about the copy.
