I was copywriter for plastic injection mould manufacturer BEC Group Ltd for 3 years, writing their website, blogs, case studies, campaign copy, press releases and opinion pieces in industry press.

This article “5 Things you Should Know Before Reshoring” was intended to encourage product designers, engineers and innovators who might be overlooking UK manufacturers in favour of cheaper (in the short term) China-based counterparts when the skillset, expertise and knowledge is actually on their doorstep. BEC help their clients reshore parts back to the UK, where the ease of communication, efficiency and ability to oversee parts being manufactured on-site, makes design for manufacture, production and delivery, a whole lot easier.
