Displays in Words

My client wanted a permanent display to commemorate their first 50 years. A display that would stand the test of time on the wall outside their marina office, for all their berth holders and visitors to see. A display that told the story of their first 50 years and represented a thank you.

How the founders built the first marina back in 1972 and why they chose Lymington, capturing the facts, tying in with the original photography, relating momentous milestones and remembering the people who made it happen. Showing how they’ve grown, diversified and the impact they have on the communities they serve today.

Once written, I worked with the marketing team to come up with a plan for how the story should be displayed on the wall.

The story of their first 50 years was published in “All at Sea” newspaper earlier this year (2022) and in June an expanded version was erected for the next 50 years!
