Having written the new website for Simeon Morgan Farming and his team of contract farmers, he asked if I’d watched “Clarkson’s Farm”? “No” I replied.

“Well, you’ll need to catch up if you want to write the next blog.”

Simeon wanted to throw a light on the next generation of passionate, hard working and sustainably driven arable farmers, his son included. As a governor at Sparsholt College, he helped me demonstrate what a diverse and current mix of career choices there are in farming today.

I set about throwing myself (and my family) into the fabulous first series that was Clarkson’s Farm for a bit of inspiration and to draw a few comparisons!
