Save Our Species

Conservation (WWF) funding. Education. Biodiversity. Natural world.

Devised by a 13 year old during lockdown, Jackson and his family created Save Our Species, a colourful new card game for young families, with the full support of the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) - the world’s leading independent conservation organisation.

Jackson’s mum got in touch and asked if I’d write their Kickstarter website.

Providing the copy for the online launch of this exciting young product was a joy!

SOS is all about educating young people about our natural world, rare species and habitats, biodiversity, biomes, wildlife corridors and the impact of natural disasters. And 100% of card sales profits go to WWF.

I got to shine a light (in words) on our planet’s biodiversity, meet new characters; like the Tardigrade, the Ocean Sunfish and the Sunda Island Tiger AND feel a bit closer to Sir David Attenborough in the process! What’s not to love!

Did you know? Emperor Penguins have the deepest, longest dives of any bird in the world.
